Product Reviews for Ampeg BA210SP Bass Combo Amp with Digital Effects (220W, 2x10) Feature: I believe it is effect #15 that actually blew out my amplifier the first time I used the effects!!! It was only the second day I owned the amp!! This was at low volume too!! Now I'm waiting for parts and repairs at the local repair shop!! Damn!! Quality: Hey, what can I say? This amp has a built-in self destruct circuit. Step AWAY from the effects. Value: Maybe yours works fine, mine doesn't. Sound: Great sounding. Support: Don't know yet. Overall: I feel that the effects section has some major flaws that can compromise the dependability of the entire amp. I would buy the comparable amp with the tuner and without the DAMNED exploding effects section.
