Product Reviews for MAudio Midisport 8x8 MIDI Interface Feature: When it worked it was decent. Quality: After about 6 months of use, I started having problems with the interface - upon power on, it did not connect properly. I reported the problem to MAudio, and they said it was a "known problem" and asked me to send it back to them. I did, and when I got it back, it still had the problem. I talke to them again, and they sent me a chip to install. I installed, and then the problem only happened about 50% of the time. Just recently, it has returned to being a full-time problem. I therefore rate the quality as extremely poor. Value: It's useless to me now. Desirability: I bought this unit for excellent price/port ratio. Sound: no comment - it's MIDI after all, not audio Support: They tried, and failed. Overall: It really is useless now - I got about 6 months steady service and six months of unsteady service overall.
