Product Reviews for Morley ABY Selector Combiner Footswitch

Feature:
The Y feature is great, and the reason I purchased it in the first place, replacing my Whirlwind AB box. The LED display is a must as well.

Quality:
Good construction, but they should take measures to quiet the switching noise.

Value:
Cheap, but not of much real use live, so what's the point?

Sound:
Very noisy switching! Virtually unusable during a song. For quick changes between songs it might work, but even then it makes a lot of noise when switched. I've used other mechanical switch AB boxes, and none were anywhere near as loud when switched. I'm not sure what Morley's doing wrong with this unit, but it's by far the worst sounding switcher I've used.

Support:
Told them it was WAY LOUD when switching, much, much louder than my other mechanical switching AB box from Whirlwind they said,"Our ABY is a simple mechanical switching device. We make no claims to it being silent switching. [You can] Try another brand ABY that designed to be "Silent Switching". It will cost more that our ABY." -Bill Wenzloff @ MorleyFine, I'll go back to Whirlwind and their silent switch ABY model. Twice the money, but the stock Morley is unusable.
